Mary Ploughman

Chair

Mary Ploughman brings 30 years of leadership experience across financial services, capital markets, securitisation, mergers and acquisitions, governance and risk management, gained in roles within a range of financial institutions. She is an experienced CEO and Board member with a background in both ASX-listed and publicly unlisted companies.

Mary is Chair of Plenti Group, a Non-Executive Director of Qualitas and Housing Australia, Chair of Pitcher Partners, and an advisor to Indigenous Business Australia and Gresham Partners.

Mary holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney, is an Associate of the Securities Institute of Australia, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Dianne Shepherd

Dianne Shepherd

Managing Director & CEO

Dianne Shepherd joined Homesafe in 2006, during its startup phase, and has been instrumental in developing the infrastructure, platform and team to operate and grow the unique Homesafe business.

She brings previous experience in senior executive roles across diverse industries, including banking and finance, legal, fintech, retail, property, and the arts. Dianne is an experienced board advisor, skilled in stakeholder engagement and complex product distribution, and in working with mission-led organisations to deliver long-term value for all stakeholders.

Dianne holds a Bachelor of Commerce with degrees in Accounting and Finance.

Cameron Brownjohn OAM

Cameron Brownjohn OAM

Non-Executive Director

Cameron Brownjohn OAM is Federation CEO and involved in all aspects of the firm's business. His twenty-seven years of relevant experience spans all areas relevant to Federation, including leadership of a number of successful investments in the healthcare, financials, industrials, resources, media, technology, telecommunications, infrastructure and real estate sectors throughout Australia, Asia, Europe and North America.

In addition to his roles with Federation portfolio companies, Cameron serves as a non-executive director of UNICEF Australia and as a member of University of Queensland's Business, Economics & Law council.

Cameron holds degrees in Law and Commerce with First Class Honours.

Neil Brown

Neil Brown

Non-Executive Director

Neil Brown is a founding Partner of Federation Asset Management.

Previously, Neil was a Division Director within Macquarie Group's Corporate and Asset Finance Principal Finance team, the balance sheet investment arm of Macquarie Bank.

He has more than eighteen years of experience in investment, investment management and corporate advisory across a wide range of sectors, including energy, infrastructure, transport, healthcare services, financials, and real estate.

Neil holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Economics degree with First Class Honours from the University of Queensland and is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Ashley Trbojevic

Ashley Trbojevic

Non-Executive Director

Ashley Trbojevic is an Investment Director and works predominantly across Federation's investments in Synergis, Sentinel and various of Federation's private equity portfolio companies.

Ashley joined Federation from Morgan Stanley's investment banking team in Sydney and has seven years of experience across her career. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Economics) from University of Sydney where she graduated on the Dean's List of Academic Excellence.

Important information: Under a Homesafe Wealth Release® contract, you sell a capped share of the future sale proceeds of your home to Homesafe Solutions Pty Ltd in exchange for a lump sum today.
