Homesafe Solutions Pty Ltd, was founded based on a shared vision between the two entities to provide older Australians with a fair and transparent alternative to a reverse mortgage. Importantly, Homesafe was to provide not only a mechanism to access wealth tied up in the family home in a safe and secure manner, but also to ensure that the right to live in a home once an equity release transaction was in place, was fully protected.
In 2005, “Homesafe Debt Free Equity Release” was launched as a pilot through the Bendigo Bank to older Australians across Melbourne and Sydney. Since the succesful launch 10 years ago, Homesafe Solutions Pty Ltd has received over 130,000 enquiries from customers. In 2014, the product was re-invigorated and its name changed to Homesafe Wealth Release®
